About Thunderbird/Shrike
This Australian pattern is called Shrike, but in the USA it may also be called Thunderbird (possibly because it bears some similarities to the Native American Thunderbird logo). This pattern comes in bowls 9″-10″ that are usually 8 or 12 ruffle with sawtooth edges; they have a Fern & Wattle exterior. There are a few whimsies in the larger bowls- one that has 2 sides pulled up and a few with a plain exterior that are pulled way up (making the foot domed. The sauces (also called nappies) measure approximately 5″ across and are 12 ruffle. The bases are ground.
