About Twins
This pattern was introduced in 1909 as pattern #411, was produced for several years and is one of Imperial’s many geometric patterns. Sometimes the two piece fruit bowl is matched up with the bottom of Hobstar and Arches base (Imperial mixed and matched many tops with a base to utilize the molds). The pattern is on the exterior, the interior is plain. The edge is a scalloped deep sawtooth. The fruit bowls may be ruffled or round, the sauced are only found ruffled. Found in the fruit bowl and base (differentiated from a punch bowl since there are no matching cups) and the smaller bowls (sauce), The bowls are collar based.
